
Requirements Engineer / Business Analyst (m/f/d)
As the newest part of the HR WORKS group, we work entrepreneurially in close collaboration with the HR WORKS team. This means for you: you'll be part of a 220-person team, benefit from our interdisciplinary network, and have the opportunity to connect across our four locations in Vienna, Freiburg, Frankfurt, Berlin, and Cologne.
Your Mission
You gather and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders
You analyze and validate requirements to ensure they are feasible, clear, and aligned with business objectives
You work closely with the Product Lead and development teams to translate business needs into technical specifications
You develop and maintain detailed documentation, including user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams
You facilitate effective communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
You participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
You identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
You stay informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure the product remains competitive
Your Profile
You have 5+ years of experience as a Requirements Engineer, Business Analyst, or in a similar role within a scaled agile environment
You are proficient in requirements management tools such as JIRA and Confluence, and experienced with visualization techniques like User Story Mapping, Impact Mapping, and Event Storming
You have strong analytical skills, enabling you to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions
You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively present and justify requirements and solutions
You have proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
You bring in-depth knowledge of agile methodologies and have hands-on experience working in an agile environment
You have strong documentation skills and a keen attention to detail
You are proficient in both German and English (C1 level)
